Saturday 17th October: Fungus Foray, Bentley Wood (joint meeting with Friends of Bentley Wood)
Meet in Eastern Car Park, 600 m along track: grid ref. SU258291; What3words price.intrigued.plot .
The car park is on the east side of the wood and is approached from Scouts Lane which runs south from East Winterslow towards West Dean. Note that we plan to take the minimum number of cars further into the wood to Dean Copse, and walk from there; hence it will be difficult to leave the group before the end of the meeting.
Bring snacks/refreshments as required. No toilet facilities. Risk of tick bites, so long trousers recommended. Leader: James Macpherson (07836 350862).
