River Bourne Community farm surveys

The River Bourne Community farm owns about 13 acres of land not far from the main farm in Cow Lane, Laverstock. This land is currently in a Natural England Stewardship scheme, which is due to be renewed in August 2028. Along with Penny Theobald, (who annually records what she finds on this ground), I have agreed with the farm that SDNHS will carry out 3 surveys of this land on Tuesday 31st March, Tuesday 30th June and Tuesday 29th September – all from 2pm to 4pm. We will record as much of the wildlife that exists on this area as we can, which will in time influence how we manage the field going forward. So please do join us, as the more expertise we have, the more we will record! Please note we DO NOT meet at the farm. Meet in Boundary Road, Laverstock, SP1 1RN, What 3 Words // keep.zoom.gossip.
