Devizes Road Cemetery, Devizes Road, Salisbury, SP2 7ND. Meet at the front of the Cemetery at the Devizes Road Entrance. A general interest wander around the Cemetery grounds, which was opened in 1856, and contains the charming little Cemetery Chapel, which can seat only around 20 people, but does have its own organ! The cemetery has many mature trees, shrubs and grass areas, much of which was probably originally chalk grassland. So, we will see what we can record over the two hours. We are very lucky that we have botanist Ann Appleyard joining us, who will help us identify the plants that we may come across.
