Churchill Gardens Summer morning activity

A morning bug sweeping and insect hunting, target audience kids, but always enjoyable too for the adults in tow. We will roam the long grass areas in the centre of Churchill Gardens, sweep-netting, examining our finds, and seeing what's making its home in this popular edge-of-city park. Arranged in conjunction with Salisbury City Council, with SDNHS volunteers kindly lending their expertise in sweeping and insect ID! Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult; sensible footwear needed, long trousers/leggings/sleeves recommended. Plus – weather appropriate accessories be they sunhats and sunscreen, or waterproofs! Meeting point by the hill playpark slide (What 3 words /// deals.obey.ground), nearest to the car park off Southampton Road. No need to book.
